Why don’t you tell the truth

There really aren’t all that many valid opinions

In life, you are either right or you are wrong

And you are so very wrong

I know on TV anything goes, but

Why don’t you tell the truth

There are many channels, many rags

Each with several napoleons, each one brags

Some have a label they want to push

Some have an agenda to kick someone’s tush

Some claim to be fair and balanced when they

Stumble all over the place

Some are only in it for the money, to come first in the race.

Why don’t you tell the truth

Nobody cares about what you think

Or who you think stinks

Just tell the truth, tell it like it is
